You have to raise the gaming limits and bring the vvip customers in. Even if it is a second house that they play at while in town.
That will expose the customers to this beautiful property. The casino will always hold the percentages and will win between 16-20%of all monies played at the end of the year.
You cannot sweat the gaming aspect.
You want to be at the top you have to offer the limits and deliver exceptional service and give customers TTO’s on credit lines as requested.
That is what building relationships is all about.

Considering the table min’s, seems they are fixated on getting only high rollers. That gimmick is already used up by experts(Wynn) and I don’t see FB offering anything special that would sway loyal Wynn customers away. I think the biggest problem is generating cash from gaming and making min’s high is not going to attract average players and that’s a loss of profit. Arty said the “fate is sealed”, that may be true without major changes.

Fontainebleau will now be offering “tier matching”. So on WED. 2/7, the Fontainblue launched the “Elevate your Tier” promotion . “New and existing FB rewards members can req. to upgrade their tier status based on their current status at competitors eligible loyalty program. The tier matching will run through June 2”, as reported by the Las Vegas Review journal. So, whiners, you have until June 2nd. Note that the tables are still at $25+ to get in, and the reg. slot machines would probably qualify as the high-roller machines at other casino’s and .. they will not be lowered. In any case a lot of folk probably can’t afford to gamble at FB in the first place, so I don’t get what the crying about matching tier level is about anyway ( if you can’t afford to gamble there) . ho hum.

It’s been used as a movie location many times. It’s considered the top hotel in Miami Beach. With a pedigree like that the owners probably had a smug over-confident feeling about guaranteed success with their Las Vegas location. They’re used to having very upper level customers in the Miami Fountainbleau and expected similar results in Las Vegas. But the Miami Beach scene is quite different from Vegas tourism. The Fountainbleau owners and management are starting to figure that out.

Sounds like same ???? different day. You would think after 15 years JS would have learned something.

That multi-billion dollar property needs cash to keep afloat and they needs tons of it. Aside from natural curiosity, why go there?. No theme, no vibe and certainly no player incentive. walk in and look at the bar in the center of the floor and the tour is over. In this day and age of high pricing, tourist are looking for at least some value. Ya can’t just offer customers tight slot machines, high food prices and expensive rooms and expect to see them again. Guessing by the end of the year, something major will happen. either a majority buy out, bankruptcy or god forbid, closure but, investors will only write off so much loss before they pull the plug.

No thank you. Going to stick with RW.

Wynn? Or, maybe they’ll partner or get additional financing from an Asian, Saudi or European entity to keep afloat? — God no on Caeser’s & MGM (they’ll neglect the property, upcharge with ridiculous rates like they did with Cosmo and Bellagio, then run it into the ground). After they get done with the property it will only attract the guys who wear wife beaters and trucker hats, beer bellies notwithstanding, but you know, the ones that scream and demand matching tier as they believe is their right ( the something for nada crowd).

It’s good to see the north end beginning to develop nicer properties i.e. (Wynn/Encore, Resorts World & now FB) Las Vegas needs to extend the monorail and get busy with public transportation so everyone can experience these beautiful places. Maybe they can partner with the existing resorts on the north end to chip their share in, as they will only benefit.

Whomever ends up owning this gem, needs to take good care of it. Keep it classy, please.

I’m a top tier player, but when I contacted FB to try it out, I was told that there are no room specials for players, much less comps. Forget about tier matching. All this is a certain recipe for disaster. Someone needs to remind these folks that their resort is not center strip. (IMHO, they are charging above center strip prices – good luck with that.) You can change personnel all you like but you can’t change your location or your corporate culture. Sorry to say that FB’s in terrible trouble.
